EiE was an eye opener and a totally enriching experience. I really learned a great deal, and I felt the initiative was quite touching (: I had 3 Malays, 3 Chinese (including myself) and 1 Indian in the group and our open-mindedness and maturity (in some sense) allowed us to carry out discussions, thrash out arguments and correct wrong perceptions and yeah, I'm glad for the experience. AND the best thing about the whole camp's probably the accomodation :D we had hotel-like facilities and amenities, complete with extra fluffy pillows, free broadband usage and cable TV! And 5 meals a day - Chinese cuisine, Malay cuisine, Indian cuisine, American style breakfast etc :D

Liangyan flew off this morning )): my training buddy.

I really dont know what I want sometimes. The attitude's eating at me.
The faith's gone, hope's halfway there too.

The prata shop along Thomson really disgusted me. I was giving it a chance by going back to eat, trying to dispute my parents' claim that the standard of their prata dropped. It tasted great, especially the kosong. BUT when I was halfway through my mushroom cheese prata, I saw a strand of hair. Cheelim said should be his, because he just got a haircut. Okay, I said, and continued eating. THEN I discovered some black stuff in it. IT WAS A FLY'S CORPSE LA! Gross! I lost my appetite immediately. I asked for a replacment and gobbled it up anyway. Haha. But I dont think I will go back there again. This sort of blighted my short time with Cheelim but it was a great Saturday nonetheless. (:

I hate the way YJ and AJ have their prelims right after each other. GRR.

I think the students at NUS High School are over achievers. And that is a great understatement. A 13 year old aced A level maths and some download lecture slides from the MIT websites! Sometimes I wish I can be a genius too but it takes more than a great deal of thinking. Haha. I will be over the moon if I aced A levels at the age of 18. Heck, I will jump the moon and fly over it. Haha.

My tuition teacher kind of made my day. He laughed at me when I asked him about some complex number problem and said: "Unfortunately this is your last year here. How I wish you will be here next year. You always make me very happy." Apparently my stupidity in maths/physics always crack him up. Haha. No way, Mr Ho, I do not want to be back again next year!

I'm off to watch Supernatural now! The younger brother is real hot (:

How much things have changed in 2 days.

So I've managed to dodge APTS this time round, but my grades are only reasonable. They aint good, just reasonable. That is enough to make me want to study hard. Pre-season training starts on Monday and it's going to be more tiring than ever. Time to up the performance in the team!

Going to attend an overnight camp tomorrow until Sunday. It's called 'Ethnicity in Exploration' and I really hope it'll be fun. It was a painful decision to make, whether to go for it or not. But I decided on going in the end, to punish myself. Nevermind that.

Why pick up a hobby when you have neither the time nor passion for it?

Tapestry06 was fun (: it was an eye opener and if all the unpleasant nonsense that happened along the way was to be taken away, it would have been more fun. But alas! There'd always be the usual spoilsports. Guys - tsktsk. This aside,

OH WELL.

Someone once told me that photos only capture happy memories, and come to think of it, I can't help but agree. You wouldn't whip your camera out and snap away at someone who is sobbing away right? That will equate to rubbing salt into his or her wounds! I won't want to see photos of me sobbing away. DEFINITELY. It'd be a hideous sight - red nose, puffy eyes. YUCKS. Haha! The pictures on my camera are always taken when I feel like it, which means that I only take photos when I think I look good and feel happy. [somehow that amounts to like all the time. Haha!]

I'm a cam whore, I admit it. Especially with Gen (: i swear her camera has close to a hundred photos of me [and I believe that's quite a conservative estimate!]. Like she said, that's why we are good friends; she likes to take pictures and I like to pose for pictures (:

Custom self-timer! New found discovery of the day (:

I went back to St Nicks with Gen, Jo and Van for the Combined POP yesterday. Or i will like to think it is the reason so, because I know orange bowl was the more compelling reason! Haha, but we did stay to watch the St John parade and cheered them on. All the best to the head squad of 2006/2007! Our Sec Ones! (: God, I feel damn old!

Though we were sorely missing the company of all our other squadmates, we enjoyed orange bowl and cam whoring throughly. If the four of us were to hang out for an entire day, a thousand photos will be taken! No kidding!

Gen, Jo and I embarked on a photo taking spree after Van left with Ying Tung and Zoeraine to meet some ai-ai. [I swear Van is getting more ah lian with her frequent "wah lao eh!" and "kanasai!"! Haha!] We jumped the SMU way, climbed the playgrounds, vandalised our 1 Hope classroom and pavement, all the while capturing ourselves on our cameras. Unfortunately, mine died on me halfway [again!] but it freed me up to be their model! Hahaha. A blessing in disguise, I must say. [I coloured the 'like' option fot the 174th question: pose for a photographer, on the Career Interests Inventory!]

Cam whoring, lots of gossip and great food [orange bowl+St Nicks Macs!] made my Friday a perfect one (:

HAPPY 14TH MONTH!
I'll stop the world and melt with you.

Life's fragile, all it takes is one mistake to send everything else come tumbling down.

I've been thinking alot recently, the stuff I can will myself to do. Let's just hope nothing will come to naught ultimately. I wish September was here already, I'll be a whole lot happier, more free too.

Love's cuel. they say.

I think this is going into the record books - I just did an econs essay, a DRQ and an entire entropy tutorial in about 2 hours plus. I really concentrated, so much so that I'm getting a monster of a headache now. But it feels great to do my homework, I've got this sense of achievement. Hahaha.

Diana cracks me up totally with her Chunli joke. HAHAHAHAHA!

I know the game, maybe slightly more than some girls? I think that girls can gush over players AND yet know the game inside out at the same time. Why not? Girs reserve the right to do so. (: it's quite bimbotic la but I like it. There's the technical side to soccer and the physical side. (: Both appeal to me greatly. I may not be an old hand at soccer but hey, at least I know what's the offside rule! Hahaha. And so what if the guys think that they know more about the game than us just because they don't gush? Haha it's more like expression of feelings eh. So I disagree with you Por, I disagree! (: haha.
I miss soccer.

Just a few more hours to pirates! Can't wait, but the company matters more. I forsee hysterical laughter, LOADS OF THEM. (:

I'm probably really late but I'm so darn glad Zidane got the best player :D I'm sure he headbutted the Italian for an extremely valid reason (shame on Materazzi) so yay! On another note, women really ask for criticisms when they do all the brainless gushing which will ultimately lead to men saying that women know nuts about the beautiful game. So shush, wont you?

I am so tired, after 2 days of consecutive races. It was the interhouse road race today and JAGUAR got first haha. But we had to win, seeing which there were three trackers in the team; Liangyan, Ariana and me (: I'm going to be really sad when Liangyan leaves for Canada at the end of this month. My training buddy ):

I feel like giving up. There's just too much on my plate at the moment and I dont want history to repeat itself. I doubt I can take it. Not anymore.

But it was you. It was you who saw me in that light.
What a pity.

I knew that the loss of sleep was worth it for the beautiful game (: the Azzurri won the World Cup and deservedly so, even if Zidane didn't head butt Materrazzi. The entire scene was really comical; why the hell did he lose his head?! Hahaha. That head butt was classic man, but so untypical of him. He won Golden Ball anyway (Cannavaro was just behind him in terms of votes. :l) It's just saddening that the head butting incident marred his last outing for France.

I'M SO HAPPY ITALY WON! Call me superstitious but I think my luck has taken a turn for the better after this match! (But I still need to watch Just My Luck, JUST IN CASE! You hear me, Jojo? What happened to cut-hair-and-watch-Just-My-Luck!) For once and the last time of this World Cup, I predicted everything right (: i was really deseparate to win even just a dollar. The other plus point of supporting Italy (besides the fact that they are better as a team)? THEIR CAPTAIN IS SO COOL! Haha beat that, Zidane. And they are the hottest team of guys on the pitch. Hahaha. Cannavaro is the epitome of that.

St Nicks' NA won the nursing category at National Competition! CONGRATULATIONS! So proud of them, but feeling slightly guilty that I didn't go down to support despite my house being a stone throw away. :l

I swear I will not be beaten down. The gravity of THAT looming A level finally hit me today.

thia; we will and we must work hard okay! (:

Today was the last official training of some sort; for most of us anyway. Most of us have events next week and the events will have ended by 19th. Goodbye is the hardest word to say, I feel. So when Snow hugged me at the end of everything, all I did was cry.

We've been training as a team for months now. Running countless repetitions, painful shins, excruciating acid build ups, long prep talks, time trials, extremely sunny trainings and totally wet ones, funny PT session...

I'm grumpy rahh.

Please, please let the pain go away. It hurts so.

Hello 2805! The photos for Sentosa outing are up already! Sorry for the long wait but I'm sure I made it worthwhile. GRIN. And MR HWANG JING JIE, I do not appreciate being called Siu Hong okay!!! Take care of all your burns and I hope another class outing awaits us!

Ryan, don't be angry la. (:

I know the exmas are over for a week already but I'm so glad it's finally over. I guess I really panicked this time round. Especially for Chemistry. There's no denying it, I suck at it :l just wish me luck for the results. I already failed Chemistry MCQs so i guess there's not much hope of me passing Chemistry overall. But there's always the other 3 subjects! *crosses fingers*

It's going to be an onslaught of revision when the next week begins and I won't have time to go shopping anymore! :( but I went that day with Jo! So happy with all the things I bought, which explains why I'm broke now. I LOVE STRIPES! Haha. I love Jojo too!

OH! GOOD LUCK AT THE POOL, CHEELIM!! (:
remember to be a dolphin and drink Milo! (:

Haha this could make an interesting story. We met a couple with thier dog, Frosty, but very obviously this dog is not very loyal and prefers comfort over styaing loyal to his owners. But none of the guys were very interested in the dog, (maube except for Barry), and preferred his owner VERY VERY MUCH. Haha! But she's real hot man.

Okay so my papers ended yesterday and it really didnt feel like a cause for celebration of any sort. Unlike those pinafore wearing days when the last day of papers would equate to the remainder of the day being spent in town, I went for training, then came home to mop the floor and iron the clothes.
Guess my priorities have shifted.

Like what Sheila said, it really didnt mean anything since we have yet to reach the ultimate goal. Pfft. And with Nationals coming up this Thursday, July's going to fly by really quickly.

Something's taking its toll on me. I wish I know what it is. I've been looking after myself aye! Taking 12 pills every 3 hours is such a darn chore :/
