Work's been fulfilling and I want to scream this out loud: BEN AND JERRY'S ROCKS! Haha. Yesterday was an interesting day at work. Mel and I were basically irritating each other to no end, but I enjoyed working with her (: we tidied the store up and separated the bulks neatly into the two freezers and labelled them. Yay, so proud of ourselves! And Japanese tourists kept coming to our store requesting to take photos with us, leaving us bewildered and amused at the same time. Aah, the lure of the two beautiful scoopys at the Sentosa outlet.

Chee Lim is out at field camp now, devoid of contact with the outside world. Haha and that includes me unfortunately. Let's hope he's still human when he books out this weekend. I think he will be. Army is so freaking slack now!

I can't wait for my first paycheck, albeit a little too thin. It's still my hard earned money anyway! CAN'T WAIT, SHOPPING! (: we start this Saturday, at Vivocity!

Fel; HELLO! You actually visit my blog! I wonder how long ago did you tag. I miss you! Why didn't you come for our squad outing? We all missed you :l

What a whirlwind these few days had been!

1. Inter-JC pageant at Zouk yesterday
Firstly, Chee Lim won the NUM ambassador! To say the least, I was shocked. Not that I'm not confident of my boyfriend's chances but the other contestants had far many packs and chests and whatnot bulges than him! Still, I'm happy for him. HAVAIANAS GALORE! (:
And the prom queen was a deserved winner, regardless of what detractors [mainly guys, because they think that the AC contestant with her ample chest should win. HRMPH GUYS!] said about her! She was really pretty (:

Saw Sheena at Zouk! She gets prettier and prettier each time I see her! (:

I love Jo to bits bits bits! (:

Chee Lim! (:

Guo Xing was there at Zouk too (:

So was Boon! Felt like a soccer gathering, albeit incomplete with the girls!

Kendrick and Navin! I love these two 2805-ers no matter how much they bullied or will bully me and how many times I pinched them or will pinch them (:

2. Scoopy-ing at Ben and Jerry's!
Training passed by real quick and I met Pammy boo at the office! Really happy to see her. I mean, of all places! (: First day of work was at Great World City [of all places!!] and there was a few hitches here and there sadly :l I served a customer a cold cuppachino and I think that caused the family to complain about B&J's service standard. I felt so guilty but I'd be careful about it and no more cold cuppachinos or whatnots! That aside, I feel like I'm being paid to have fun. And the free flow of ice cream is a definite plus (: I'd be down at the Sentosa outlet tomorrow from 11am to 7pm so any beach goers, pop by and say hello! (:

Our creations during training. YUMMY YUMMY! (:

3. Trip back to AJ
Jo and I went back to collect our Edusave awards. Yes, I can't believe I got an EAGLES award too! Finally saw Por, Pei and Mui after such a long long time (: I'm already missing them and all the laughter and fun we shared. I'm glad Mui Mui is staying at AJ! (:

Me, Pei Pei, Jo and Por (:

We are Hopians you know! (: six years of friendship and still going strong!

One with Mui (:

Yes, I'm a very happy girl indeed.
And I love every beautiful day.

And now ladies and gentlemen, I hereby announce that I'm in love :D

(Just another one of those open declaration, you see)

2 days of school and I'm already looking forward to the CNY break. Dont get me wrong, it's not that school sucks, but you know, it's tiring. And to all those concerned souls out there, school's as good as can be for me; you know everyday's just a day closer to for me to close this chapter for good (:

Cant wait,

Hello there, happy new year (:

Instead of putting down my reflections here for 2006 like I did for the previous years, I'm going to put up my hopes for 2007 instead (:

HAPPY NEW YEAR! (:

Going to the zoo is such an educational trip and the most enjoyable one at that, with Cynthia, Shi Ying and Willy! I learnt so much about the wildlife that I had never bothered to register in my mind during all those excursion trips. Great day, no rain and just plenty of animals! Pictures below show just the few animals that we saw. Connection is a bit slow due to the earthquake I think, and I'm just not patient enough. Ooh and I saw Inuka! Do you know that it has algae grown on its back due to its exposure to the sunlit environment in Singapore? And we thought it was just a dirty polar bear! I'm glad I got to see it before it got sent away, which gets me thinking: will the animals behave like how they behaved [lazy and listless] if they weren't being held in the zoo. Somehow I think they won't. So is it a good thing that animals are 'held captive' while we humans stand to benefit from it? Baah this is so gp-ish! Haha.

So 2006 has came to an end and I look forward to 2007 with relish. It's going to be a brand new year for starters, and my life will take a big turn in a direction no one has ever taught me how to navigate before. I hope it will be a positive turn and I will make sure of that. Never had the habit of making new year resolutions [because I know that I'd never keep to them anyway], but it's another year on and why not? (:

There's only one word to sum up my 2006 I guess - busy. Preparing for A levels sure ain't an easy journey but who said it was? I have survived it and gladly so (: but surviving it ain't that sufficient and I have to have results to show for it. Yes, the impending results [not so soon though heh] is nagging at the back of my mind now and then. I can't help it - will I do well? Will I be able to get into the course of my choice? I guess no point worrying now eh (: I'd just enjoy my holidays as much as I can! This is a break like no other! The longest break I will ever have.

2006 is also a year of friendhip for me. Lost some friends [not physically but emotionally, with a few that I had always thought the connection was there] and gained many. 2006 will have been very different if not for my 3 pals from 2805 (: Cynthia, Shi Ying and Willy. They made my year! I love them to bits! You three, hear that eh! More outings await us! UNDERWATER WORLD!

And for some, I bonded with them more than ever. Like Jo, will I have survived AJ that well if not for her? We were in it together right from the start. Thanks buddy, for being a great friend to me for the past 6 years, not just this year alone and just for the knowledge that you will always be there for me (:

Oh and there's also Pek Chee Lim (: 2006 is also the year we hit a year together. Who would have thought so? I certainly didn't! But I learnt to have faith and this relationship taught me many more good things than I ever thought it will. It makes me a better person and maybe it will teach me to be a better girlfriend than I had been for the past 19 months or so!

Haha hear me getting all weepy and emotional here aye. But what a year 2006 has been for me! All cheers to that and here I come, 2007!

POR; Haha yeah man I'm learning, I'm learning! It ain't that tough after all (: we should meet up soon. I havent seen you in AGES! Call me when you have a break from school eh (:
Go Por! Rock 2007! I love you!

Move along, move along like I know you do
