curtain calls and the curtain falls.

I guess it's always hard to say goodbye and saying goodbye to this good old blogspot's no different. It holds so many memories for both Qiu and I, some dating back from 6 years ago. Yes, 6. It has probably seen us through more ups and downs, triumphs and failures than some of our friends have I think.

So, qiu's at quaintjukebox.livejournal.com and I'll be at quagmire-10. Until then, goodbye.

These, or similar.

Hello friends (seriously I wonder who actually still comes here!), these are the items pending on my to-be-purchased list. I'm not expecting the exact items, just similar or nice alternatives! These are just for a gauge, a guideline, I supposed? Anyway, I dont need a big out of the world kind of thing for my 21st; just simple celebrations with the family, b and my friends will suffice and guess what, I'm getting all three! So yes, I'm contented (: plus it's the exam period (May is forever the exam period) so yes yes, studies are more important aye!

another battle, another uphill task.

And... it's a big hello to the summer holidays :D :D :D somehow the reality hasnt quite sunk in yet, today feels like a break in between papers ): errands and work piled back to back till I leave for Cambodia sigh.

To sidetrack a little, I think I've gotten used to the way things are/were. How.

Anyway, I dont like how my sisters are in North America where the swine flu virus has been affecting people and claiming lives ): please please please, let them be safe. At least my 2nd sister's coming home soon (: July! And I'll be off to Taiwan for a week or so then (: cool beans.

Okay, off to the doctor's for my jab and then Yishun Central to run some errands. Till then, to all my friends, jiayou for the remaining papers!

Southeast Asians in Diaspora

Sometimes, I like to think that SE1101E Southeast Asian Studies is a really interesting module and that our region is indeed extremely beautiful and colourful. Take this website for instant, I doubt I'll have come across it if not for the fact that I've been tasked to look through it as one of my readings: photoessay.com
Sigh. If only the lecturers had made this module half as meaningful and relevant. Yeah, relevant. All they talked about were far-fetched concepts which I couldnt quite grasp nor link it to the real world. Eeeeks.

Anyway, chin up girl, it's the last day of examinations tomorrow!

And HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU MY DEAREST PAPA <3

REGISTERED PLEASE.

I say, I've never been this disappointed with SingPost before >:( at least, the girl on the other side's the sweetest. Now, all I can hope's that my money hadnt been spent on disappearing mail, just extremely slow postal service that's all. Damn.

Plus hotmail's been anal recently, what the hell is this:

And, I'm thinking hard what I'll like for my 21st after much prodding by Qiu so watch this space, whoever you are and intend to give me presents hahahah.

something about me.

That's just not right, that's plain unfair. Plain unfair. I'm going to work doubly hard just to prove so.

Gek2506: Drugs ans Society

It's just pills after pills, jabs after jabs. Been taking medicine for various ailments for a long time now I cant remember when was the last time I needn't have to pop pills after meals. And it's 2 jabs down, 2 more to go.

(Reminder to self: 30 April 2009 for the next jab and to start Larium on 7 May 2009 and continue for the the next 7 weeks)
